The weather was fine, had really nice stay at a good value. The venue's position was central. Again, it was relatively close to Fairhaven Baptist Church. Nothing to complain about, I appreciated this place, recommend.

I called ahead (@5;30 on October 19th) to inform the front desk that we would be checking in after the conference on Friday night (10:30) at the earliest) Best Western called my home number @10:00pm and asked my husband if we were still coming. I called the Best Western back around 10:20 on October 19th and told them we were on our way. I reconfirmed for the 3rd time that our room with 2 queen beds for 4 adults was ready. The front desk clerk said it was rady. Ww checked in at approximately 10:50 to room 314. When we opened the door to room 314 we found that the room had not been cleaned from the previous quest. My friends and I went back downstairs and told the desk clerk that the room was not clean. She was working alone checking in many other quests from this same conference. She said she did not have any other rooms and it would be at least one hour before she would be available to clean it. We were not willing to wait for an hour but did not have any o ther choise. The desk clerk came back and said she had a smoking room with a king size bed and pull out sofa. We took that room and had to go back to the front desk to get proper linens not only for the king size bed but also fpr the sofa bed. The front desk clerk was doing the best she could with the number of quests checking in at this late hour. She did give me a discount of $25.00, but I woke the next morning with a migraine from smelling smoke all night. I was not able to attend the remainder of the conference on Saturday. My husband had to drive over an hour to get my so the entire weekend would not be ruined fro my friends. Best Western should never leave one employee to operate a hotel especially when so many quests would be arriving at the same time. This is by far the worst hotel service I have ever experienced in my 56 years. I don't think I should have had to pay anything for such poor service, but at the late hour we did not have another choice.

The room was nice. We liked the absence of a bedspread which I suspect is not washed that often. The sheet covering the blanket was much better. Very clean and a wonderful staff.
